The separation basin is used to separate the liquid parts from the solid parts of some kind of industrial waste materials, tanks only to gravity.
The waste material is unloaded into the basin from its front side (the side with smaller vertical walls). The ground of the separation basin has a slope so that the liquids goes to the rear side of the basin (the side with taller vertical walls) naturally separating from the solids.
A pump is used to remove liquids and muds.
