Hopper

The hopper consists in a single structure made in high thickness electro-welded carbon steel components. The hopper is shaped as an upside-down pyramid: its internal surfaces are smooth and flat to avoid any obstacle to the material flowing down. The hopper is essential in all these situations where a measured flow of material is requested for selecting and/or stocking of finite products (pellet, sawdust,…). It is easy to use: a sliding shutter is moved manually (automatic and timing programmable movement upon request) by the operator who varies the quantity of the material flowing down. The hopper depicted in this page has a capacity of about two cubic meters (about two Big Bag containers). Our hoppers are designed and built always upon the specific requests of the customer: capacity, material to be contained, type of use, dimensions and shapes.
